Description

The ÖKOBIT Group is a leader in innovative energy and process technology, specializing in biogas production and utilization. They plan and construct biogas and biomethane plants throughout Europe, develop electrotechnical solutions for municipal water management, and oversee backup power systems in critical infrastructure. For the further expansion of their team, they are seeking a highly motivated Occupational Safety Specialist (m/w/d) based at their Föhren location.

What You'll Do

  • Take responsibility for the organization, implementation, and monitoring of occupational safety on our construction sites in Germany and Europe.
  • Ensure compliance with national and European safety and health regulations.
  • Conduct instructions, safety briefings, and training sessions.
  • Create and maintain hazard assessments, operating instructions, and safety plans.
  • Perform regular safety inspections and audits.
  • Communicate with authorities, clients, and project management on all occupational safety matters.

What You'll Need

  • Completed training as an Occupational Safety Specialist or a comparable qualification.
  • Professional experience in an international construction site environment, ideally in plant or industrial construction.
  • Sound knowledge of relevant EU directives and national occupational safety regulations.
  • Willingness to undertake project-related assignments abroad within Europe.
  • Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Very good German and English skills; additional languages are an advantage.
