What You'll Do
- Handling a wide range of tasks in financial accounting
- Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to HGB, with team support
- Assisting with preparatory activities for consolidated financial statements of the parent company within a team
- Active participation in exciting accounting projects
- Processing and posting business transactions and optimizing processes in this area
- Coordinating and monitoring accounts payable, accounts receivable, and asset accounting
- Intercompany reconciliations and managing payment transactions
- Preparation of VAT pre-registrations, recapitulative statements, and statistical reports
- Collaboration on process design projects, including the further development of ERP software
- Involvement in the development and implementation of guidelines and tax-related matters
- Close collaboration with management and external consultants (e.g., auditors, tax auditors)
What You'll Need
- Commercial training or (business) economics degree
- Relevant further qualifications, e.g., Certified Financial Accountant (IHK) or Tax Specialist
- Relevant professional experience in accounting
- Experience in the described areas of responsibility
- Experience with an ERP system
- Team player with an independent working style
