The Story Behind the Role
How does the company balance the need for standardized global implementation playbooks with the unique requirements and cultural nuances of diverse international customers?
That's a fantastic question, and it really gets to the heart of what makes this role exciting and challenging. From my perspective, it's a dynamic interplay. We absolutely push for robust, scalable playbooks because they are crucial for efficiency and quality across our global operations. However, we're keenly aware that every factory, every brand, every supplier has its own rhythm and specific operational context. The secret sauce is in empowering our Project Managers, like you would be, to be the bridge. You'll lead those crucial workshops, diving deep with customers to understand their unique processes. Then, you'll bring that insight back to our Hamburg and Amman teams, working collaboratively to adapt the standard blueprint, not break it, but customize it intelligently. It's less about a rigid rulebook and more about a living framework that evolves with each customer success, ensuring we learn and improve collectively.
How does the company support Project Managers in fostering a cohesive, customer-centric culture across geographically distributed teams in Hamburg and Amman?
It's a priority for us, honestly. We know that physical distance can sometimes create perceived gaps, but our leadership is deeply committed to bridging them. Regular cross-functional syncs are standard, not just for project updates, but to foster deeper relationships between the Hamburg product/engineering and Amman development teams. We invest in communication tools and encourage frequent, informal interactions. But beyond tools, it's about shared purpose. Every team member understands that our ultimate goal is customer success, and that shared vision naturally unites us. As a Project Manager, you're not just coordinating tasks; you're a key cultural ambassador, driving that customer-centricity and ensuring everyone feels connected to the larger mission. There's a strong emphasis on transparency and open feedback to ensure everyone feels heard and valued, regardless of location.
Description
We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to take end-to-end ownership of customer implementations for our Flow platform. In this role, you will design and lead rollout strategies for global customers, standardize our implementation playbook, and ensure that projects are delivered on time, on budget, and with visible business impact. You will work closely with our CEO, Product Manager & Engineering teams in Hamburg and our development hub in Amman (Jordan), playing a crucial role in bridging distributed teams and driving successful global customer deployments.
What You'll Do
- Own the full delivery lifecycle for key customers: from kick-off through go-live and stabilization.
- Define and manage clear implementation phases, timelines, milestones and success criteria.
- Lead workshops with customers (factories, brands, suppliers) to understand processes, define target workflows and align expectations.
- Coordinate with Product & Engineering teams in Hamburg and Amman to plan releases, integrations and customizations.
- Proactively manage risks, dependencies and scope changes; escalate issues early with clear options.
- Design and continuously improve a standard rollout blueprint (playbooks, templates, checklists, KPIs) for sample.flow, production.flow and related modules.
- Introduce structured project governance: steering committees, regular status reports, RAID logs, etc.
- Define standard customer onboarding journeys together with Customer Success and our Jordan hub.
- Turn best practices and lessons learned into reusable documentation and internal trainings.
- Act as a trusted partner to operational and management stakeholders at customer side.
- Align closely with Sales/CEO on pre-sales scoping, effort estimation and realistic timelines.
- Provide portfolio-level visibility to the leadership team (project health, risks, capacity needs).
- Support commercial upsell by identifying extension opportunities (new sites, modules, features).
- Provide day-to-day guidance to our development team.
- Help build a high-performing, customer-centric delivery culture across Hamburg and Amman.
What You'll Need
- 5–8+ years experience in project management / delivery in B2B software, SaaS, IT implementation or digital transformation.
- Proven track record of leading complex multi-stakeholder projects (ideally in manufacturing, logistics, supply chain or industrial environments).
- Strong skills in project methodology (waterfall & agile), risk management, stakeholder management and steering.
- Comfortable working with distributed teams across locations and time zones.
- Experience setting up or improving implementation frameworks / playbooks is a strong plus.
- Familiarity with Lean / operational excellence / shop-floor processes is a plus, but not mandatory if you are eager to learn.
- Solid hands-on experience with project and ticketing tools (e.g. Jira, YouTrack, Asana, ClickUp).
- Confident with basic reporting (Gantt, burndown, dashboards, status reports).
- Strategic and hands-on: you can design the framework and also dive into the details when needed.
- Structured, reliable, and proactive, you address problems before they become escalations.
- Strong communicator who can talk to shop-floor teams and C-level stakeholders with equal ease.
- Enjoys working in a fast-moving, scaling environment with evolving processes.
- Professional English is required.
- German is a strong advantage for local customers and partners.
