Description
We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Scooters Mechanic to join Bolt, one of Europe and Africa's fastest-growing tech companies with over 150 million users across 45+ countries. At Bolt, we're dedicated to making cities for people, not cars, by providing sustainable urban transport solutions.
In this crucial role, you will be responsible for ensuring our fleet of e-scooters is maintained to the highest quality and safety standards. You will quickly and efficiently identify and fix damages, perform thorough safety tests to ensure roadworthiness, and contribute to providing customers with a top-notch, reliable transport experience. Your keen eye for detail and dedication will be vital in our mission.
What You'll Do
- Conduct general repair work and check-ups to ensure the highest quality for our e-scooters.
- Inspect e-scooters in use and identify problems within various product parts.
- Test e-scooters before release to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
- Put new e-scooters into service, including unpacking, performing quality checks, adding necessary equipment, ensuring safety, and troubleshooting.
- Assist with warehouse operations, which includes inventory and battery management, shipments, and general housekeeping.
What You'll Need
- High level of attentiveness and accuracy in your work.
- Knowledge and skills to operate various hand and power tools.
- Proactive approach and willingness to take ownership of challenges in a hands-on capacity.
- Experience in repairing mechanical devices, particularly in the automotive or electronic repair fields.
- Solid local language skills and experience using smartphones.
- English skills and a forklift license are considered an advantage.
