Description
We are an established company in steel hall construction, successfully realizing projects for commercial, industrial, and agricultural sectors for many years. To strengthen our team, we are seeking a dedicated employee (m/f/d) for cost estimation, combining technical competence with economic thinking.
What You'll Do
- Creation of cost estimates for steel halls, steel structures, and hall accessories.
- Analysis of tender documents and performance specifications.
- Independent quantity and mass determination based on drawings, statics, and plans.
- Cost estimation for materials, personnel, assembly, equipment, and subcontractors.
- Technical clarification of details with structural engineers, designers, and suppliers.
- Preparation of offers and price comparisons.
- Support for sales in project initiation.
- Maintenance and further development of estimation databases and price lists.
- Participation in internal project handovers.
What You'll Need
- Completed technical training, e.g., architectural draftsman, technician, metalworker, industrial clerk with technical understanding, or comparable qualification.
- Ideally, professional experience in steel hall construction, steel construction, or general building construction.
- Confident handling of technical drawings, static plans, and tender documents.
- Good knowledge of MS Office, ideally in cost estimation or ERP systems.
- Analytical thinking, numerical understanding, and a structured approach to work.
- Team spirit as well as independent and precise working style.
