We are seeking a dynamic and entrepreneurial Regional Director to lead a cluster of inspection centers in the Frankfurt region. As part of Germany's fastest-growing engineering firm, you will be at the forefront of scaling our operations and shaping the future of automotive inspections. This role combines strategic leadership, team management, and operational oversight, offering significant autonomy and growth potential.
What You'll Do
- Oversee the performance of a Prüfstellen-Cluster in the Frankfurt region, focusing on revenue, quality, team development, and customer satisfaction.
- Lead and develop a team of inspection engineers (PIs) and assistants (PAs).
- Combine operational work as an inspection engineer with clear leadership and management responsibilities.
- Provide technical and disciplinary leadership for PIs and PAs in your region.
- Manage recruiting, onboarding, and continuous development of your team members.
- Establish a clear vision, conduct regular 1:1s, provide feedback, and offer coaching.
- Foster a high-performing, stable, and motivated team culture.
- Ensure smooth operations across all inspection centers, optimizing utilization, throughput, and wait times.
- Manage key cluster KPIs, including regional revenue, revenue per PI, lift utilization, inspection quality.
- Plan shifts, vacations, and assignments for your team.
- Provide operational support on-site, especially during staff absences.
- Guarantee a top-tier service experience for B2C and B2B customers.
- Actively expand the customer base and acquire new key partners in the region.
- Monitor NPS, reviews, and complaints, and implement necessary actions.
- Identify growth opportunities and process improvements, collaborating closely with HQ departments (COO, Expansion, GTM, Product, People, Finance).
- Contribute insights on expansion, local market trends, and product feedback from operations.
What You'll Need
- Successfully completed university degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Technology, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or similar.
- Completed training as a certified automotive inspection engineer (e.g., via KÜS, TÜV, GTÜ, Dekra).
- Several years of experience as an automotive inspection engineer, ideally with initial leadership or site responsibility.
- Strong understanding of KPIs and economic contexts, with a desire for ownership of revenue and bottom-line results.
- Valid driver's licenses classes A, B, and CE.
- Excellent presentation skills, clear communication, and German language proficiency (minimum C1).
- Hands-on, pragmatic approach with a high standard of quality.
