The Story Behind the Role
Given the international scope and work with up to 80 languages, how does LIGANOVA ensure consistency and cultural relevance across such a diverse range of visual assets, and what role does a Junior Graphic Designer play in maintaining that balance?
That's a fantastic question, and it really gets to the heart of what makes our team special. Here at LIGANOVA, we pride ourselves on delivering visually impactful work globally, and managing consistency across 80 languages is a fascinating challenge. As a Junior Graphic Designer, you're not just executing designs; you're a crucial part of our quality control and cultural adaptation process. We work with comprehensive CI guidelines, but it's your keen eye and understanding of typography, color, and cultural nuances that truly bring a design to life in each region. You'll collaborate closely with our interdisciplinary project teams, from initial concept to final artwork, ensuring that while the core message remains consistent, the local adaptation resonates authentically. It's a dynamic environment where your creative input directly impacts how our international clients perceive their brand, and we value every perspective in making that happen.
The job mentions an affinity for AI tools and automation. How is LIGANOVA integrating AI into its design workflow, and what opportunities are there for a Junior Graphic Designer to innovate and contribute to these advancements?
It’s exciting that you picked up on our focus on AI, because it’s truly transforming how we approach design. We're not just using AI as a gimmick; we're strategically integrating it to enhance efficiency and unlock new creative possibilities. For a Junior Graphic Designer, this means you're at the forefront of innovation. You won't just be handed tasks; you'll be encouraged to experiment with AI tools for things like generative design explorations, automated asset creation, or even language localization support. We believe that by combining human creativity with AI's speed and analytical power, we can deliver more sophisticated and personalized solutions for our clients. There are regular opportunities to present your findings, share best practices, and even contribute to developing our internal AI-driven workflows, making your role far more impactful than just a traditional design position.
Considering this is a 2-year parental leave cover, how does LIGANOVA support professional growth and ensure the designer feels like a valued, long-term contributor during their tenure?
That’s a very practical and important question, and it highlights our commitment to everyone who joins us, regardless of the contract length. While this role is a parental leave cover, we absolutely view every team member as an integral part of our community. Our 'Create the best version of yourself' mission isn't just a slogan; it's embedded in our daily interactions. You'll receive continuous mentorship from experienced designers, participate in our internal knowledge-sharing sessions, and be exposed to a diverse portfolio of international projects that will significantly broaden your skillset. We actively encourage learning new tools, including AI, and offer feedback loops that foster rapid development. Many of our talented individuals, even those on temporary contracts, have found extended opportunities within LIGANOVA because their contributions were so valuable. We invest in you because we believe your growth directly contributes to our collective success.
