What You'll Do
- Develop ground-mounted photovoltaic (PV) projects and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) from site identification to construction readiness.
- Identify, evaluate, and acquire suitable sites.
- Lead and coordinate necessary rezoning, land-use planning, and approval procedures.
- Obtain grid capacities, connection conditions, and grid compatibility assessments from grid operators.
- Ensure project readiness in compliance with all technical, legal, and economic requirements.
- Support and coordinate the search, evaluation, and securing of suitable land.
- Prepare and conduct contract negotiations with landowners in coordination with the legal department.
- Present projects and negotiate with municipalities.
- Build and maintain contacts with authorities, grid operators, municipalities, planners, consultants, and other stakeholders.
- Manage external consultants and project developers.
- Create, control, and report budgets (with management support).
- Support financing and PPA negotiations.
What You'll Need
- Completed degree in engineering, environmental technology, energy or industrial engineering, or comparable qualification.
- Professional experience in the development of renewable energy projects and a good network.
- Knowledge of relevant legal, technical, and regulatory frameworks.
- Structured, analytical, and solution-oriented work style with a high degree of personal responsibility.
- Very good negotiation skills, convincing demeanor, and intuition for interlocutors.
- Fluent in German and very good English, both written and spoken, and high willingness to travel.
