Description

We are looking for a Tester Python (SIL 2) (m/f/d) for a project. This role involves acting as an interface between an agile development team and stakeholders, planning and executing test activities, and supporting the test automation chain. The project is focused on a safety-critical environment within the railway industry. This is a temporary employment contract (Arbeitnehmerüberlassung) for 12 months, with a possibility of extension, located in Braunschweig, offering a hybrid work model (2 days office/3 days remote possible). The start date is as soon as possible.

What You'll Do

Act as an interface between the agile development team and stakeholders.
Support the agile team in planning test activities, including the selection of test approach, methods, and scope.
Apply agile principles and methodologies throughout the entire testing process.
Create test specifications, test cases, test suites, and test reports.
Plan, perform, and evaluate laboratory and field tests.
Support the development and maintenance of the test automation chain.
Support business stakeholders in defining understandable and testable user stories and acceptance criteria.

What You'll Need

University degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or a comparable field.
Experience in testing with Python, ideally in a safety-critical environment (SIL 2).
Very good knowledge of test methodologies, verification/validation processes, and documentation standards.
Experience in the railway industry.
Knowledge of agile methods (Scrum, Kanban).
Good German and English language skills.
